My first time rock climbing was less than a year ago in Therissos gorge.
I had already done some indoor climbing,
but it doesn't compare to the real thing.
I was lucky because the National Rock Climbing festival
was to take place where I was studying.
I had no equipment, so some guys from the UK
lent me their shoes, harness and helmet and belayed me too.
I tried to climb a 6a+ but only made it half way.
Still it was a great experience!
Since then I haven't stopped climbing!
Although I have no money for equipment,
I climb barefooted and with no ropes or security of any kind.
It's just me and the rock.
A test of will-power and self-confidence.
An exploration of nature and limits.
So, this is the photo of how it all started...
